Course evaluation winter semester 2024/25

19.03.2025

In the winter semester 2024/25, the courses of the theological and humanities subjects (GEIWI cluster) were evaluated.

Results are available for 2,518 of the 2,666 courses to be evaluated in the Bachelor's, Master's and doctoral degree programs. This corresponds to a very high evaluation rate of 94%. Overall, the rate of evaluated courses in the GEIWI cluster is higher than in the rest of the university (89%).

The mean value for the question “Overall, I think the course is... (5-point scale from very good to very bad)” has improved by 0.02 scale points to 1.56. Overall, students in the GEIWI cluster gave the courses better marks than the university-wide average (1.65).

Approximately one in twenty-five courses (4%) in the GEIWI cluster has a problematic evaluation result with a mean value greater than 2.5. The proportion of poorly evaluated courses has fortunately decreased compared to the evaluation three semesters ago. The study program directors contact the course directors concerned in order to initiate improvement measures.
